Exiting the Theater Review: The Lion King (2019)

Here’s our early review of the “Lion King” opening this weekend.

Boring first half, and ‘meh’ second half. Timon and Pumba are easily the best part of this movie.

The photo realistic technology is pretty neat, check it out in Dolby or IMAX to get the best picture.

But the problem lies in the facial expressions and the animals can’t show any emotions. So your left with dead pan stares with no emotional impact in critical scenes.

This is hugely disappointing, totally a nostalgia cash grab for Disney.

Stick to the much superior animated film, probably will never watch this movie again.
