Birds of Prey is the next film on Warner Bros. and DC’s slate after the massive success of Joker, which earned over $1 billion worldwide. Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey film is set to hit theaters later this week and according to Deadline, it’s projected for a $110-125 million opening at the worldwide box office.Margot Robbie Talks ‘Birds Of Prey’ & James Gunn’s ‘The Suicide Squad’
This number for the Margot Robbie-led film would place it behind the last DCEU film, Shazam, which earned $158.6 million over its global opening. However, it’s worth noting that Birds of Prey is also the latest DC project with a lower budget. Birds of Prey is said to have budget under $100 million, which is a far cry compared to Justice League and Batman v Superman. So far, Margot Robbie’s latest Harley Quinn film has received positive social media reactions with full reviews coming out on Wednesday.
